ADL Condemns Nazi Slurs in Health-Care Debate

By Dan Eggen

The Anti-Defamation League weighed in Friday on the increasingly shrill debate surrounding health-care reform, issuing a statement condemning the use of Nazi imagery by some reform opponents as "outrageous, offensive and inappropriate."

The ADL, the nation's largest Jewish civil rights group, focused particular criticism on conservative talk-show host Rush Limbaugh, who has compared President Obama's health-care reform logo to a swastika symbol and has repeatedly likened Obama to Adolf Hitler, who ordered the systematic murders of 6 million Jews and millions of others.

"Regardless of the political differences and the substantive differences in the debate over health care, the use of Nazi symbolism is outrageous, offensive and inappropriate," said ADL national director Abraham H. Foxman, a Holocaust survivor. "Americans should be able to disagree on the issues without coloring it with Nazi imagery and comparisons to Hitler. This is not where the debate should be at all."

A handful of protesters and speakers who have disrupted town halls hosted by Democratic members of Congress over the past week have sought to compare Obama administration policies to those of the Nazis by waving placards featuring swastikas or by making the connection during speeches. During a meeting in Denver co-hosted by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) on Thursday, for example, a toddler in a stroller was photographed holding a sign featuring a crossed-out swastika and the slogan: "Say No to Fascism!"

The comparisons appear to stem in part from erroneous claims by opponents, including some Republican lawmakers, that a House health-care reform bill would lead to euthanasia for the elderly. The bill includes a proposal to allow Medicare to reimburse physicians who counsel elderly or terminally-ill patients about what medical interventions they would prefer near the end of life and how to prepare instructions such as living wills.

Limbaugh has made numerous Nazi comparisons during his critiques of Democratic health-care proposals, arguing that there are numerous "similarities between the Democratic Party of today and the Nazis in Germany" and saying: "Adolf Hitler, like Barack Obama, also ruled by dictate." Fox News television host Glenn Beck also accused the Obama administration of being "in love with eugenics," the discredited racial theory embraced by the Nazis.

Democrats have seized on the remarks as an example of what they portray as a concerted effort by Republicans and their allies to smear Obama and his health-care plans. Democratic National Committee spokesman Hari Sevugan today accused House Minority Leader John Boehner (R-Ohio) and other GOP leaders of "fanning the flames" of "hate-filled symbolism and mob activity" at town hall meetings hosted by Democrats.

"The repeated use of Nazi symbolism at community meetings by the Republican-incited mob proves that these protests have nothing to do with health care, but rather that the Republican Party is willing to sink to the lowest, most despicable levels to accomplish their goal of 'breaking' President Obama," Sevugan said.

Republican lawmakers have said they are not responsible for the protests but that most of those in attendance have legitimate concerns about Democratic proposals. GOP leaders have not responded to Limbaugh's recent remarks about Nazis.

The hostile tenor of some protesters has alarmed Democratic lawmakers, some of whom have said they are canceling or curtailing public events during the August break in reaction to what they describe as orchestrated attempts by conservative groups to disrupt civil discussions. The Senate's sergeant at arms, Terrance Gainer, sent an e-mail to senators today urging them to contact local law enforcement if "tempers flare" at hometown events.

White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs also condemned the use of Nazi imagery. "I think anytime you make references to what happened in Germany in the '30s and '40s, I think you are talking about an event that has no equivalent, "Gibbs said. "And I think anytime anyone ventures to compare anything to that, they are on thin ice, and it is best not employed."

"Americans should be able to disagree on the issues without coloring it with Nazi imagery and comparisons to Hitler. This is not where the debate should be at all."

So where are these comments when anyone disagrees with US/Israeli policies and is called a Nazi and an anti-Semite?

well Palin has just weighed in

Palin: Obama's "Death Panel" Could Kill My Down Syndrome Baby

As usual she is touting her baby desperate for "attacks" from liberals to get her usual victimhood fix.

Its really scary for a national leader, but then maybe she is not one

Unfortunately, the tone of the GOP and its friends like Limbaugh is hardly conducive to rational, reasonable discussion.

The GOP, Limbaugh, the birthers, Lou Dobbs, etc. are the ones who are actually using the same tactics used by the Nazis -- they smear people, distort issues, tell lies, and then accuse those who disagree with them as being unpatriotic, not "true-Americans."

The exact same tactics that the Nazis used -- unfortunately for the world -- quite successfully...

So it doesn't surprise me if the GOP, Limbaugh, etc. try to associate Obama with Nazism, just as insanely they call him a socialist.

They need to get out their political science books and do some studying -- they obviously don't know what they are talking about.

GOP = grossly offensive prevaricators

It's not clear by what authority the ADL or the White House or, for that matter, anyone or anything at all is able to tell American citizens what they may or may not say, or what signs or symbols they may choose to employ to express their political beliefs. Who, exactly, do these people think they are, to talk that way to their fellow citizens?

To presume to dictate to Americans what they should or should not, may or may not, can or cannot say in political debate is profoundly un-American. People who talk like that miss the whole point and have no real understanding of freedom of speech or political liberty itself. Of course they seldom hesitate to champion American values whenever it serves some special cause of their own to do so.

The ADL's position is tragically ironic and misguided. Remarkably, the ADL has confused friends with foes and foes with friends. But none is so blind as those who refuse to see.

I remember being in Jerusalem in 1995 and seeing posters, all over the city, depicting Rabin as a Nazi. At the time, I said to myself, WHAT? Who's doing this?
Well, I found out. A right wing Israeli extremist murdered Rabin because he believed he was a Nazi.
Republicans are using the same play book. Demonize Obama and the Democrats and hope, hope, hope that one of their fellow travelers will take them out. The leaders, of course, stand with hands washed of responsibility.
We are in a dangerous moment here and my advise, unasked for of course, for those who attend any town hall meetings: keep your eyes open. You may be witness to murder. If you're lucky enough to live through it.

Which, oddly enough, spends almost no time on Jewish civil rights, mainly spending its time as a shill for the Democrat Party.

Teleologicus, Where were you when the GOP was blasting DEMS for comparing Bush to Hitler? Probably agreeing with them. There is civil discourse and then there is this. No Republicans complained about Bush's "Free Speech Zones". That was much more egregious than chastising people about the language they are using. When and if you have a good argument to make please post it.

It is nice of you, Mr. Eggen to refer to "a handful of protestors" so as to excuse yourself from any charges of painting with a broad brush. However, if it is a "handful", as you say, aren't you and the ADL getting your knickers in a knot over a molehill, while allowing yourself the authority to claim opponents of the "House bill" are erroneous? Those concerned about this -end-of-life scenario do not have any idea which "House bill" you are talking about and don't care. They are concerned about THE GAS CHAMBER, Mr. Eggen. Ask your friends from the ADL ifthey can in any way relate.

It is about time that someone has come out to condemn the antics currently being used by Republicans to undermine our duly elected President and this country. Free speech is one thing but this has gone over board and is close to erupting into violence. This is pure hatred and an attempt to rob anyone who doesn't agree with the Limbaugh message of wanting this President to fail of exercising their right to hear from their Representatives.

I listened to both Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity today just to hear what they had to say and it was appalling. For them to call our duly elected President a Nazi should not be tolerated. For them to repeat lies and distortion is unacceptable. My fear is that one of their listeners will be whipped into a frenzy and do something that everyone will live to regret. I am very serious, Limbaugh was doing everything he could to scare people that President Obama is the enemy. President Obama is a racist, he plans to let old people die. The sad thing is , is some people are taking every word he says as gospel. And now you have Sarah Palin coming out fueling the flames, oh OMG !! Are you all serious?

I understand we have freedom of speech but the rhetoric that is coming from the right is becoming more and more ignorant, dangerous and threatening. The fact that there is no one in the Republican party willing to step up and tell these people to calm the rhetoric tells the American people that Republicans accept what Limbaugh, Hannity Beck and the rest are just saying what Republicans want them to say. That is sad, un-American, unpatriotic and treasonous.

Michael Steele, you should be ashamed of yourself to allow your party to become a rogue party. If violence erupts you will be responsible. John McCain ?? You the military man, the prisoner of war who was tortured, the person who is supposed to be so patriotic, you are proud of your party?

No matter how you people want to rewrite history, Democrats never, ever did this to any past President. You people have a history. You tried everything you could to destroy Bill Clinton and it didn't work. It won't work with President Obama either. He will succeed.

Isn't this a little weird that our freedom of speech and creative expression is being censured by the ADL??? If someone is behaving like Hitler did--(who by the way--no one saw coming), then why not compare them to that person? If the policy's are wrecklessly big brother then why not compare them to the NAZIs? I think this group is simply trying to distract from the actual point which everyone understood loud and clear. Put a cork in it!

The ADL feels a certain proprietorship of the term "Nazi". In fact, I'm surprised Foxman hasn't tried to copyright the name, "all rights reserved." After all, his livelihood depends on it.

Teleologicus, you are about to lose freedom of speech with the so-called 'hate crimes bill'. Foxman will soon give us a list of what we can say or think.

To others: Foxman is just worried the overuse of the word will render the entire H-industry less lucrative. Other than that, he is perfectly fine with any and all attacks on Obama. Folks on his side of the fence were the first to use the word against Obama during the primaries. These foreign policy hawks would LOVE to get rid of Obama.

This piece WOULD do the Nazis proud. No mention of Pelosi being the one claiming citizens were carrying swastikas, if if they were wearing them on their clothes and were Nazis. That's what Rush Limbaugh was illustrating.

I think the Nazi crimes HAVE been overblown, but let's not forget the 1997 press conference the Democrats including their Senate Leader had with a "very close personal friend" with a swastika TATTOO. That's a Nazi, not someone who uses the symbol as something to stand against.

I don't know, seems people were just fine with "Bush is Hitler" for the Bush years -- including Obama, who compared the post-9/11 court rulings to the Nazis. The left can call conservatives -- many of whom look like they fought in WWII -- Nazis all day long, and it doesn't raise an eyebrow. Let the other side point out how absurd it is to see Nazis everywhere, and suddenly, it's a new low.

Is that so wrong to ask the previliged in the society to contribute more since they can afford more, to rectify the disturbing condition which is the reality of the health care system of the US, for the less previliged ? Contribution in accordance with each individual's ability is different from outright socialism (Anyway, the basis of Socialism was compassion for the fellow humans, if you think about it).

It is in the collective interest of the society at large, to keep people less grieved about social injustice and glaring inequalities. You normally tend to end up with less number of psychos, random murders and violence which are, sadly, all even present phenomenas in the US. This is because of the general indiffernce towards others sufferings.

The charity obssessed middle and upper classes of America have so far failed to see that real charity begins at home. Or have they just lost interest in home charity because there is no lunch/dinner to be had ? Litsen up people, there are people dying outside hospitals in the US because they can't afford the treatment - what is so different between this and common sights of poverty ridden countries ?

Posted by: thisworld | August 8, 2009 10:46 AM | Report abuse

Now let me see. Obama when questioned on the charge that his health care reform will mean rationing shoots back that health care is already being rationed. I will now try to reason through this logically to see if this is true, because I believe we can come to some meeting of the minds so to speak. When my elderly mother had a benign brain tumor removed a few years back, she did not have to succumb to any outside board inquiring whether such an operation would be cost effective. Medicare was not under any such mandate. Therefore, her treatment had no taint of being rationed whatsoever. Now, correct me, I beg of you, if I am wrong here, but wouldn't the current legislation set up just such an oversight board to determine whether her operation would be cost effective from the standpoint of metrics like life expectancy, quality of life, and other such rubrics? In fact, I know I will be accused of engaging in the logical fallacy of slippery slope here, but isn't this the essence of the meaning of the term "Useless Eaters" that the Nazis used during their reign of terror? And isn’t the same type of statistical manipulation that Dr. Emmanuel engages in with his "lifeboat ethics" type discussions in the New York Times which also underlies the mathematics of the so called “quants” that lead us to the collapse of the speculative bubble. And why is it that we simply had to bail out insurance behemoth AIG to the tune of hundreds of billions of dollars (much of which is why Goldman Sachs is doing so well today) without flinching, but can't afford too expensive medical procedures on the other hand? Please would Mr. Obama or his any of his surrogates like to enlighten me in my state of confusion on these issues?

This is not the same as some gun-less hippy-type college students carrying signs equating the Bush-Cheney regime with fascism at rallies against the most protested and most costly war of all time. Most of the gun nuts, most of the racists, most of the people who bomb clinics are Republicans, and we are in the time of America's first black president. Name all the great political leaders who were assassinated in the last half century - were any of them Republicans - I don't think so! At least two of them were black and another one, Bobby Kennedy, was working for black people's civil rights. We saw how Palin crowds got whipped up into a near mob-like frenzy. These people aren't interested in free speech, they are interested in shutting down civil debate. They are interested in smear campaigns and scare tactics, and some of them are so full of vitriol that, when you add the fact that their leaders are encouraging this, all you need is one with an itchy trigger finger.

Certainly it's not Rush, who was illustrating the absurdity of the left calling these people Nazis -- many of whom look old enough to have fought the real ones!

Funny how the ADL only issues a press release about a man on a talk show, not the Speaker of the House. It's sad to see how that organization has become as politicized as everything else.

And how exactly are they "erroneous claims" about the bill, Washington Post? We don't know what's int he bills yet. Obama hasn't proposed one.

gloriamundi: classic example of the old expression that facts to a liberal are like Kryptonite to Superman.

great political leaders who were assassinated in the last half century:
JFK- shot by a radical leftwing extremist marxist named Lee Harvey Oswald.

Kennedy by the way had MLK wiretapped in order to smear and discredit him- all part of that "great Democrat civil rights legacy".

RFK- shot by a radical Palestinian mad a RFK over his support of Israel- IE: a LEFTWINGER.

MLK- James Earl Ray had no political affiliations, he was just a lone fugitive nutcase.

As far as assisnation attempts:

Nixon- some nut that leftists in Hollywood chose to glorify in a movie.

Ford- Lynette "Squeaky" Fromme- about as LEFTWING nutbag as it gets.

Carter- Raymond Lee Harvey apparently no political motivation.

Reagan- John Hinckley, Jr lone nut, no political motivation.

Bill Clinton- Frank Eugene Corder tried to fly a cessna into the whitehouse- no political motivation.

George W. Bush- Robert Pickett, lefty protester twit fired shots at the whitehouse.

So basically no 'rightwing' assassins or attempted assassins, many with no political motivation at all, but several leftwing nutcases.

Leave it to a leftist to try and characterize political assassinations as a rightwing thing.

Let's not even get into the fact that we have a president who was friends with an unrepentant leftyloon terrorist who planted bombs in public.

Which side is the more hateful and ACTUALLY dangerous again?

Posted by: zaack | August 9, 2009 12:15 AM | Report abuse

I find it very interesting that many of the children of victims of Adolf Hitler are now calling Obama a "Nazi", and attempting to stir of hatred against him. Something tells me that it goes beyond the health care issue.

There is an extremely powerful (but "invisible") health care elite in this country who have raked millions in premiums and high health costs from the American people over generations. This elite now feel that their "means of livelihood" is being threatened by this administration's push to offer the American people a way out of this slavery. The very individuals that have been cheated now defend those who have taken their money and denied them unconditional quality health care.

It is a great tragedy that many of the people who would benefit from such an option are duped into being "barking and snapping bulldogs" for the same interests that have ripped them off. The dog food ? - fear, lies, and the falsehood that this health initiative constitutes a breakdown in the American government.

I find this left wing outrage rather humorous and disingenuous. Where were you when Democratic operatives were throwing Oreos at Michael Steele. The left wing fans the flames of racism and depends on it for political survival. It has little to do with the healthcare debate but hey why not insert it to try to distract the masses.

The Nazi symbolism is more about that regimes use of Eugenics. If any of you had read Tom Dascle's book on fixing healthcare, which this bill seems to use as a blueprint, you would understand the comparison.

This healthcare bill has two obvious goals. To destroy private healthcare in the long run and to destroy those evil drug companies that have brought us an extra 20 years of life expectancy with their evil drugs.

It is an unfortunate fact of life that we the U.S. citizenry are carrying the entire global industry on our backs as the last semi free market for the pharmas to recoup there billions in research. But make no mistake without the U.S. market, medical advancement will grind to a halt, which is by the way one of Dascle's prescriptions for bringing down costs.

Healthcare for the poor does not have to mean tearing down private healthcare. This is not about providing healthcare to the poor it is about trying to make everyone us dependent on a liberal government for one more necessity of life. Like a senior citizen that has no choice but to cast his vote for the same party that enslaved them with the promise of social security and medicare we will all be dependent upon those geniuses in Washington to provide our medical care.

zaack - My point was that more Democratic political leaders have been assassinated than Republican ones in the last half century. Could you refute the actual point? If you consider that, in light to the fact that Republicans are the party where you find most of the gun nuts, racists, and violent religious extremists, considering the fact that Obama is the country's first black president, the growing mob mentality of anti-Obama Republicans, there seems to be a high potential for the assassination of another Democratic political leader. That was the point I made, if you go back and read it. I can see how I didn't make my point about who was assassinated perfectly clear, leaving room for you to make an assumption. So you got to refute a point I didn't really make, good for you. Plus you try to equate violent Muslim radicals with Democrats - lovely! But, in answer to your question - "Which side is the more hateful and ACTUALLY dangerous again?" Your side is ACTUALLY more hateful and dangerous. Check it out:

Health Care Debate Degenerates Into Brawls, Death Threats

"From Connecticut to California, angry demonstrators opposed to health care reform have disrupted recent town hall meetings held by congressional Democrats. They attack lawmakers for backing a "socialist agenda," shout questions without waiting for answers and repeat misinformation as fact, in some cases even accusing Democrats of favoring mandatory euthanasia for senior citizens."

"On Friday, a Democratic lawmaker from Washington received a faxed death threat a day after he described angry town hall demonstrators as "a lynch mob." Rep. Brian Baird of Washington, who supports President Barack Obama's push to overhaul the health care system, said that he also received threatening phone calls... A few Democratic congressional offices also have received threats connected to the health care debate."

"The demonstrations have grown more unruly. Six people were arrested Thursday after a forum on aging in St. Louis held by Democratic Rep. Russ Carnahan drew an overflow crowd of health overhaul opponents and backers who came to counter them."

"In recent weeks, demonstrators in Maryland hung in effigy a Democratic congressman who backs an overhaul, and in Texas opponents erected a tombstone with the name of another. Police in New York had to escort a Democratic House of Representatives member to his car after a raucous town hall meeting on health care."

"Aides to Republican members said the callers were generally polite, but worried... Democratic aides, however, said the callers are usually combative, often use profanity and accuse the lawmaker's staff of lying to them."

The proposed healthcare "reform" is not reform – it is an unprecedented expansion of government power at the expense of the citizens' liberty, health, and very lives. Obamacare is designed to control every aspect of our lives and to justify further intrusions.

That is why people compare Obama to the National Socialist Party (NAZIs). His plans and tactics bear many frightening similarities to the NAZIs (and Chancellor Palpatine's rise to Emperor in Revenge of the Sith).

If we give up our liberty to Obama's thugs, we will perish as a civil society. Obama must be stopped at any cost or we will join the slaves of other communist countries.

The proposals call for cutting $500,000,000,000 from Medicare in order to pay for free healthcare for illegal aliens, sex change operations, and murdering babies. Abortion is already the leading cause of death in the United States. We do not need the government paying for even more murders.

How do you cut $500,000,000,000 from Medicare? Somebody is going to die! You have to kill a lot of old people and disabled citizens to cut $500,000,000,000.

God help us to be strong and wise.

Neither party should call members of the other Nazis. We spent all of World War II killing Nazis. The term is an invitation to some deranged person to kill.

This applies especially when you your high profile commentators apply it to a president of the United States.

There was a lot of unhappiness with George W. Bush, but I never saw heard of anyone who called him a Nazi. I'm sure there were a few deranged people somewhere who did, but not nearly to the extent the term is being used now.

Quit calling people Hitler and Nazis whichever side they are on.

You folks are right, this is not the behavior of the Nazi party. It is the behavior of the KGB. when Americans are denied their right to free speech because the people in control don't want to hear it, we are at risk of dictatorship. i thought nixon was bad with his enemies list but at least his admistration didn't terrorize people in their homes. Shame on you Mr. Obama, for trying to turn this country into the USSR complete with socialism and secret police.

If anyone is running for re-election get the facts, the American people regerdless of party do not want this healthcare mess and beating us up will get you throw out of office or not re-elected.

Mr. Obama, get rid of yours czars who are not answerable to the people of this nation if you don't wanted to be compared to Stalin or Hitler.

I think BO's plan for the health care of this country has been spelled out by his advisors. Ezekial Rahm and some other advisor to obama have said that health care should be dispensed as shown on a curve. The youngest and oldest will get far less (if any) and the 15 to 40 will get the most because they are the most productive. In other words, why waste money on folks who are not producers, are likely not voters, and are a drag on society. Keep the strongest ones healthy so they can continue to brainwash them to do their bidding.

How in the world can anyone even Rush Limbaugh compare the First African American President to Hitler? and Nazism? The ADL is correct for jumping in. Then the Cheerleaders on Fox News are urging on the Town Hall protesters as if they are doing something great.
Some of these Town Halls look like Klan Rallies the only thing missing is the white sheets. At one Rally I mean Town Hall on the Easter SHore of Maryland a Democratic Congressman was hung in Effigy..
Lets get serious. These folks are still pooped because of the beating the took in November.
Many have refused to accept a Black President and many of these rallies are taking on racial undertones.Obama won the eletion fair and square. If the Republicans lost ---blame George Bush , blame John McCain for choosing dimwitted Sarah Palin as his Vice Presidential nominee.
A lot of Republicans just stayed home rather than vote for McCail-Palin. We need Health Care reform and we should not rest until it is accomplished.

The irony of the opponents using Nazi imagery to fight health reform is that their tactics at town hall meetings smack of fascist activism. What I want to know is who is behind this movement. I wish someone on the Post working on the issue would do some serious investigative reporting.

akcoins:

Teleologicus, Where were you when the GOP was blasting DEMS for comparing Bush to Hitler? Probably agreeing with them. There is civil discourse and then there is this. No Republicans complained about Bush's "Free Speech Zones". That was much more egregious than chastising people about the language they are using. When and if you have a good argument to make please post it.
-----

It's taken a few days but I believe I have finally come up with a good argument. Actually, to be precise, it is more of a position than an argument. Anyway, here is my position:

I don't like people telling me what I can or cannot say.

That's my position. Sorry if it offends, but there you have it. You don't tell me what I can or cannot say, and I won't tell you (or anybody else) what they can or cannot say. Fair? You don't have to like whatever it is I might say, nor do I have to like whatever it is you might say. We can cheerfully detest whatever each other says, no questions asked. But the deal is this: I don't tell YOU what YOU can say, and YOU don't tell ME what I can say.

This used to be a pretty common way of doing business, even in passionate political debates. Remember the apocryphal quote that Voltaire supposedly said: I disagree with what you say but I will defend to the death your right to say it? Actually he never said that. But it proclaims a value now largely lost.

A generation of self-righteous ignoramuses has arrived who know little or nothing about history, philosophy, political science, economics, literature or anything else of consequence. It is no surprise that they have no understanding of freedom of speech. They think freedom of speech is OK as long as it is limited to their favorite obscenities and to pornography - though they are probably not willing to defend this to the death. But as soon as anybody says something non-pornographic or obscene that offends or upsets them or somebody else, they are ready to call out the National Guard and declare martial law with instructions to shoot offenders on sight.

Alas, these same people do not comprehend the logical fallacy tu quoque, or two wrongs do not make a right. They inevitably try to argue their case by pointing to something they take to be equally bad or worse on the part of their adversaries.

I don't like anybody telling me what I can and cannot say - and I must say that I am puzzled that people like the ADL and others think they have the right to do so. How did they come by this authority? Is it because they are better and wiser than the rest of us and therefore ought to be empowered to tell everybody else what should or shouldn't be said?

gloriamundi- you didn't MAKE a point that had any relevance to anything. Two prominent Democrats were assassinated by LEFTWING lunatics, not rightwing.

MLK by the way wasn't a Democrat, but I'm sure you being steeped in the falsehoods of the Democrat Party's re-writing of the the Civil Rights movement and their largely AWOL role in it, you probably wouldn't know that.

As for assassination attempts- I even missed one; Sara Jane Moore another LEFTIST who tried to shoot Gerald Ford.

When it comes to leftwing vs. right, political assassinations was about the worst example you could try and bring up to smear the right. Perhaps read a little ACTUAL history next time?

As for all your nonsense trying to pretend the right is more prone to violence than the right (and in TYPICAL liberal fashion after falling flat on your face with the poor example you gave that actually shows just the OPPOSITE!) you libs have the world's shortest memories. Like any of us has forgotten the left's nearly 8 SOLID YEARS of protesting everything under the sun you disagree with, shouting down anyone you disagreed with, violent demonstrations, tons of marches and demonstrations with protestors holding up signs comaparing Bush to Nazis, calling everybody under the sun fascists, calling Jews who support Israel Nazis, racist and condescending images of Colin Powell and Condoleezza Rice and any minority that didn't tow the leftwing line, on and on and on.

Leftists, when it comes to any of this you're the proverbial pot calling the kettle black.

The Limbaugh Lemmings continue to amaze us all at the level of ignorance they are proud to exhibit.

Leaves one almost speechless.
