Thursday Injury Report
Virginia Tech will be healthy when it heads to Atlanta.
Only backup linebacker Bruce Taylor, who has an ankle injury, was listed as out on the Hokies' injury report that was released Thursday afternoon. ACC guidelines mandate that an injury report be released on Thursdays during the football season.
The Hokies have battled injuries during preseason practices -- most notably to running backs Josh Oglesby and David Wilson -- but appear to be in good shape physically. Oglesby and Wilson have both returned to full-speed practice last week and said they felt healthy.
During preseason practices, Oglesby missed more than a week with a strained right hamstring, and then an infection on his left heel. Wilson had been kept out of contact drills after spraining his left shoulder in the Hokies' first intrasquad scrimmage on Aug. 15.
No. 7 Virginia Tech takes on No. 5 Alabama on Saturday.
