Friday Morning Links
It's Friday. Only a day away from the fourth-ranked Hokies' meeting with No. 19 Georgia Tech. I've got a busy day of travel ahead of me, but here are your links.
The Yellow Jackets have the nation's fourth-ranked rushing offense. But please don't mistake Coach Paul Johnson's spread option with a slow, plodding attack. Georgia Tech has a quick-strike capability on every play with its offense.
While Virginia Tech's defense is known nationally for its prowess, the Hokies have been inconsistent this year. They hope they have reached a level of steadiness on defense, especially heading into a game like Saturday's, against a dangerous offense like Georgia Tech's.
I'm about to file a story about Hokies running back Ryan Williams, who has emerged as a star. In order to get you geared up, here are some highlights of Williams while at Stonewall Jackson High School in Manassas. The film is of the team's offensive highlights, but as you might expect, No. 34 provides the majority of memorable moments.
