The morning after. Or is it mourning? There will be plenty more about Virginia Tech's 20-17 loss Thursday night to North Carolina. Here is what everyone else had to say about the game.
No Georgia Tech hangover? Well, it certainly looked like it for the Hokies. Virginia Tech's defense failed at the end of this one, writes Tom Robinson of the Virginian-Pilot.
Still, it was a particularly tough night for Ryan Williams, whose fumble at the Hokies' 24-yard line set up the Tar Heels' winning field goal as time expired.
For North Carolina, it was redemption for past opportunities that had slipped through the Tar Heels' hands. It was a win to revive North Carolina's season.
It was probably North Carolina's biggest win since . . . well . . .
