Tuesday links
It's Tuesday, so that means a full slate of news conferences at Lane Stadium. While you wait for the information from that, here are some links.
East Carolina plays in Conference USA. But for the next few days, Pirates Coach Skip Holtz told his players to forget about that. East Carolina is focused on Virginia Tech.
Amid the talk about conferences, ironically enough, a former ACC player is jumping aboard at East Carolina. Former Boston College quarterback Dominique Davis said Monday that he would transfer to East Carolina.
For the Pirates, Thursday's meeting with the Hokies is Holtz's last chance to knock off "a BCS big boy" on its schedule. The coach says he thinks Greenville, N.C., the rowdy college town where East Carolina is located, will "come alive" for the game against the Hokies.
