Here are your Friday links. I think I speak on behalf of most readers when I say TGIF.

It's a slow period here in Blacksburg. The big news about the Virginia Tech football team? There is an auction for the Hokies' brand-spanking-new Nike uniforms. Virginia Tech's players wore the Nike jerseys in a game at Maryland on Nov. 14 and at Virginia last weekend. The jerseys were introduced with much hoopla, but at least they're being auctioned to a good cause and not just a marketing ploy.

If nothing else, Virginia Tech Coach Seth Greenberg has kept it interesting. I attended his "Chalk Talk" session with Hokies students. So did a few other reporters. Compliments of Darryl Slater of the Richmond Times-Dispatch, here are some classic Greenberg photos: agony and anger.
