We're still a few weeks away from Virginia Tech's meeting with Tennessee in the Chick-fil-A Bowl on Dec. 31 at the Georgia Dome. But on Thursday, Hokies Coach Frank Beamer and Volunteers Coach Lane Kiffin were in Atlanta for a coaches' luncheon in anticipation for the game.
Jeff Schultz of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution asks if Tennessee's rivals in the Southeastern Conference are turning in the Volunteers into the NCAA, which has launched an investigation into their recruiting. And speaking of NCAA violations, Schutlz also wonders if Kiffin's fan support at Tennessee eroding.
