Virginia Tech is playing Tennessee in the Chick-fil-A Bowl on Dec. 31 in Atlanta. Here are some links about the Hokies' bowl destination.

It took the folks in Atlanta to bring these schools together, after failed attempts to do so in the past. "It’s going to be a hot ticket for Tennessee and Virginia Tech," Volunteers Athletic Director Mike Hamilton said.
Speaking of Atlanta, this game is already touted for being as Coach Lane Kiffin's first bowl at Tennessee. Kiffin has declared a recruiting war in Georgia and "will make a grand return to the state" for the game. Good, bad or otherwise, Kiffin always attracts plenty of headlines.
The news other news out of Blacksburg on Sunday came from Cassell Coliseum, where guard Malcolm Delaney scored 31 points and the Hokies' had a solid defensive effort in a 74-62 win over Georgia.
