Thursday links

It's a game day and Virginia Tech is already in Charlottesville to take on Virginia. Here are some links to get you prepared.

Hokies Coach Seth Greenberg is something of a wild man on the sidelines. He stands in stark contrast to Cavaliers Coach Tony Bennett, who is a more stoic presence.

Bennett has led a turnaround for Virginia. He didn't watch much tape of last year's Virginia team after taking the Cavaliers coaching job because he wanted to form his impressions based on his interactions with the team.

And while the Hokies and Cavaliers will renew the in-state rivalry on the hardwood Thursday night, I'll pass along a tidbit about Virginia Tech's football team. Heather Dinich of ESPN.com takes a great statistical look at Bud Foster's defenses. The short story: Foster knows what he's doing.
