Tuesday links
Happy Tuesday. And now, some links.
After losing to North Carolina on Sunday, Virginia Tech has a relatively quick turnaround before hosting Miami on Wednesday. The Hurricanes (15-1) have finally received some love after their hot start, joining the Associated Press rankings. They debuted in the polls at No. 23 on Monday.
That, of course, means the Hokies will be playing three ranked opponents in the same week: No. 12 North Carolina, No. 23 Miami, No. 25 Florida State.
Virginia Tech's Jeff Allen played inconsistently his last time out, in the Hokies' loss to the Tar Heels. Miami has benefited from the play of Dwayne Collins, who had a big game in Miami's win over Wake Forest on Saturday night. It should be interesting to see how Allen and Collins match up on Wednesday.
And don't forget to check out The Post's new bracketology blog, The 65.
