What are Va. Tech's NCAA tournament chances?

The ACC is not any easier to predict, and so Virginia Tech's chances of making the NCAA tournament haven't gotten much clearer. Let's turn to The Post's resident bracketologist, Eric Prisbell, to break down the Hokies' chances.

Prisbell's blog, The 65, takes a daily look at bracketology examines the Hokies' chances each Wednesday. Here's the latest installment.

The verdict: Virginia Tech, like almost every ACC team, is currently in the NCAA tournament conversation but it is still hampered by its poor nonconference schedule; nine of the Hokies' wins came against teams ranked 200 or worse in the RPI. And it doesn't get too much more difficult in the immediate future. But a solid record against the rest of the ACC will keep Virginia Tech in the conversation.
