Virginia Tech defeats N.C. State for road win
It's Thursday in the middle of another busy week in the ACC. Here's some reading material.
Virginia Tech defeated North Carolina State, 72-52, in Raleigh on Wednesday night. The Hokies swept aside the Wolfpack in a game they simply could not afford to lose if they want to play in the NCAA tournament for the first time since 2007.
Now, after Virginia Tech's defeat of the lowly Wolfpack, all eyes will turn to the Hokies' meeting with Virginia on Saturday. A lot will be on the line when the Cavaliers come to Blacksburg, as Jerry Ratcliffe of the Charlottesville Daily Progress writes.
The Cavaliers have walked a fine line between winning and losing this season. Virginia lost in overtime to Wake Forest on Saturday, marking the Cavaliers' fifth loss this season by 5 points or less.

The Virginia Tech - Virginia game should be fun to watch.
Both teams have a lot at stake.
More people would probably read the article about the game if there were a link to it from the Virginia Tech section.
