Virginia Tech takes on Boston College
BOSTON -- Hello from Beantown. I'm a short cab ride away from Chestnut Hill, where Virginia Tech will play at Boston College. I'll have more from there later on, but until then, here's some reading.
The Hokies have had some crazy finishes in this neck of the woods. How will things shake out this time around?
After all, this is a Virginia Tech team that has had more than a few close shaves this season. As Darryl Slater of the Richmond Times-Dispatch notes, the Hokies are 9-1 in game decided by fewer than 7 points or in overtime, and also lost by 7 at Miami. Okay, so maybe things will be predictably down-to-the-wire in this latest Hokies-Eagles game.
And I'm in Boston, so why wouldn't I go to a college hockey game? Boston College took on Merrimack on Tuesday night, so I peeked my head in Conte Forum to watch some fun on ice.
