ACC tournament quickly approaching

This Wednesday unofficially kicks off the ACC tournament, as teams will be practicing on site in Greensboro, N.C., later on. For now, here are the morning links.

Virginia Tech, a No. 4 seed, will play either fifth-seeded Wake Forest or 12th-seeded Miami on Friday afternoon.

The Demon Deacons are coming off a win over Clemson on Sunday. The win snapped Wake Forest's four-game losing streak, improving its NCAA tournament resume.

Miami, meanwhile, is limping into the conference tournament, after finishing 4-12 in ACC play. The pressure could be on for Coach Frank Haith. "People can't beat me up more than I beat myself up,'' Haith told the Miami Herald this week. "I've got to win -- I understand that. And I'm going to win. If anything, I'm more determined than ever."

And here's your daily dose of exclamation points from Virginia Tech's Seth Greenberg. "our players came back with excellent focus effort and fresh legs after 2 days off!" @HeadHokie tweeted on Tuesday afternoon. "Spent the day working on fundamentals and execution!"
