Looking to spring football at Virginia Tech

Let's start this Tuesday off with some Virginia Tech reading.

The Hokies open spring football practices on Wednesday, but there are already some known position changes. Most notably: running back Josh Oglesby was moved to fullback and linebacker Jake Johnson was made a defensive end.

Seth Greenberg, the Virginia Tech basketball coach, spoke recently with Darryl Slater of the Richmond Times-Dispatch and gave a complete breakdown of the Hokies' 2009-10 basketball season. Good read.

Oh, and as for all that chatter linking Greenberg and St. John's, it looks like the New York university is targeting Steve Lavin, the former UCLA coach and current analyst at ESPN. Greenberg on Friday agreed to a contract extension with Virginia Tech.
