Spring football begins at Virginia Tech
Happy Monday. This is the unofficial start of Virginia Tech spring football, so let's get right to some reading.
Frank Beamer, the coach of the Hokies, will be addressing the news media on Monday afternoon, kicking off spring football. Virginia Tech returns to the field for practices on Wednesday.
Darryl Slater of the Richmond Times-Dispatch recaps Virginia Tech's 2009-10 basketball season. As for next year, people are happy Coach Seth Greenberg will be back in Blacksburg. The next issue is whether his star guard, Malcolm Delaney, decides to come back for his senior season.
If Delaney does return, Virginia Tech will be well position next season. Michael Bealey of the Collegiate Times, the student newspaper, offers a look ahead. Guard Dorenzo Hudson said, “We’re going to have a great year next year I have no doubt about that.”
