Virginia Tech guard Malcolm Delaney has big day

Top of the morning' to ya on this Tuesday. The teams practice in Greensboro, N.C., on Wednesday for this week's ACC tournament. Meantime, here are some morning links.

Around these parts, Monday belonged to Hokies guard Malcolm Delaney. He became the first Virginia Tech player to be a unanimous first-team all-ACC selection and also was named the conference's player of the week after solid performances in each of the past two games.

As noted, the Hokies are readying for the trip to Greensboro, where they will be a No. 4 seed. That makes them an 8-1 choice to win the tournament, according to the Las Vegas oddsmakers. Who ya got?

An ACC tournament championship would be nice, of course, but the big goal this time of year is the Big Dance. Virginia Tech seems like its pretty safe in securing an at-large berth, but where might it end up in the bracket? The Washington Post's Eric Prisbell has the Hokies as a No. 10 seed.
