Virginia Tech loses to Miami in ACC tournament
Happy Saturday to everyone. Let's get right to some reading.
Well, that wasn't what everyone expected, was it? Virginia Tech lost to Miami on Friday to be knocked out of the Atlantic Coast Conference tournament. But the lose did more than that for the Hokies; it threw their NCAA tournament hopes somewhat into doubt.
As John Feinstein writes, this conference tournament has illustrated why there are such events in college basketball. "One word: hope. One other word: suspense," writes Feinstein. Well, for Hokies Coach Seth Greenberg, it will be suspense.
It will be a countdown until the brackets are unveiled on Selection Sunday for Virginia Tech. And I'm sure everyone in Blacksburg will be holding their breath until the field is announced.
