One week into Virginia Tech spring football
Happy Friday, everybody. Here's some reading to start your weekend.
Virginia Tech opened spring football practices on Wednesday, and Kyle Tucker of the Virginian Pilot has been rolling out a series of Q&A sessions with the Hokies' position coaches. His latest installment is the "Bodacius Backfield" edition in which he talks to Billy Hite, the running backs coach.
Norm Wood of the Newport News Daily Press takes a look at newcomer Nick Dew, who consulted with with Aaron Rouse, a former Hokie and current member of the New York Giants, before picking Virginia Tech. For Dew, it was as if he was looking in the mirror because the two players have taken a simlar path.
And finally, a little love for Virginia Tech Basketball Coach Seth Greenberg, whose activity on Twitter is always lively. Here's what @HeadHokie had to say on Thursday: "on way to indy for coaches convention! No doubt the goal is to travel with the Hokies someday soon!"
