Historians Urge Wal-Mart to Drop Wilderness Site
Clint Schemmer of the Fredericksburg's Free-Lance Star has written a good story on the growing opposition to Wal-Mart's proposed site for a mega-store on the Wilderness Battlefield. More than 240 historians have joined with the Civil War Preservation Trust in publicly opposing the company's plans.
