Southern Maryland Still a Southern Place

Erica Mitrano of Lexington Park's Enterprise newspaper has found that some residents of southern Maryland still take obvious pride in the state's Confederate past and have a continuing interest in the prisoner-of-war camp at Point Lookout. She has done a good job of finding a variety of thoughtful people willing to speak on the subject.
