Art Show Inspired by Walt Whitman's Poetry
The Dixon Gallery and Gardens in Memphis has a new show, "Bold, Cautious, True: Walt Whitman and the American Art of the Civil War Era," that sounds terrific. Memphis Daily News reporter Jonathan Devin has written a thoughtful review that includes and explanation of the show's unusual name.
