Charleston To Have A Black History Museum
A decade after officials in Charleston first proposed a black history museum, the $69 million project is moving ahead, according to a story by Associated Press reporter Bruce Smith. The museum, to be called the International African American Museum, will cover black history from slavery through the equal rights movement of the 1960s.
