See Spotsylvania Battlefield on wheels
The Segway could transform the way visitors experience Virginia's Spotsylvania Courthouse Battlefield if the National Park Service decides to offer the tours on a permanent basis. This summer, the wheeled tours, priced at $55 a person, will be offered only on Saturdays at 11:30 a.m. while the Park Service evaluates the service.
Reporter Bill Freehling of Fredericksburg.com has a story about the first tour via Segway offered at the battlefield.
