Charles County Schools Closed for Inauguration

Students in Charles County, rejoice! According to a news release, the school board voted to close school on Jan. 20.

The bad news? Schools are now open Jan. 23, which had been a holiday.

A press release stated that the board "agreed to change the school calendar, moving the semester break for students from Friday, Jan. 23 to Jan. 20. Schools will be closed for students on Jan. 20 and teachers and staff will be allowed to take liberal leave. Schools are now open on Jan. 23."
