Housing Options
With the demand for inauguration housing continuing to grow, a number of Web sites have been founded to try to hook up property owners with prospective tenants. Here's a listing of some of the sites.
www.inauguralhomes.com Founded by Andre Butters, 30, a University of Maryland graduate with a degree in economics, and several friends. It costs $9.95 for the basic service to list your property and $49.95 to have your home featured and receive email updates when a tenant is interested.
obamadcbound.com Founded by Deana Bass, 35, a public relations consultant, and two friends, the site costs between $7 to $12 to list your property.
www.inaugurationaddress.com Founded by Kerry Fortune and Nelson Marban of Long and Foster. The agents will work with clients to create a match, for a fee.
http://maybeweneed.com/inauguration/ A free search engine created by Iverson Gandy, co-founder of Web design company.
And of course there's Craigslist's inaugural housing listings.
