Gaylord Resort in Maryland Has Hotel Rooms
Many D.C. hotels may not have rooms for next month's inauguration, but one of the pre-eminent hotels just across the bridge in Maryland is still accepting guests, a spokeswoman said.
The Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center, located on the shores of the Potomac River in Oxon Hill, has at least 200 rooms available every day from Jan. 18 until the day after the inauguration, hotel officials said. Room rates begin at $799 a night and a four-night minimum stay is required.
The hotel will serve as the site of the Texas State Society’s Black Tie and Boots Ball on Monday, Jan. 19, according to the society’s website.
