It's Official: Rihanna to Perform at Charity Inaugural Ball
Pop superstar Rihanna will be performing in Washington on inauguration day. Feeding America and the Recording Industry Association of America are teaming up for a joint inaugural ball for charity and announced today that the "Umbrella"-singer will be the headliner. Alas, the Jan. 20 event is by invitation only and not open to the public, officials said.
All proceeds from the RIAA inauguration after party will go directly to Feeding America, the nation’s largest hunger-relief organization.

Anyone need a room? We booked a great room in Alexandria but now can't make it up there.
I was in DC for the Clinton inaugural in 1992. There were tons of celebrities about town, free concerts (I remember seeing Toad the Wet Sprocket in a tent on the Mall) and the whole atmosphere was surreal. This inaugural should be even better. My wife and I are pretty bummed that we're not going.
