Some Hotel Rooms, Home Rentals Still Available in Loudoun
Many areas well beyond the Beltway are seeing a run on hotel rooms, and Loudoun County is among them, Loudoun Extra's Erica Garman reports. Some options remain for latecomers, though:
The Goodstone Inn and Estate, also in Middleburg, has several rooms available Jan. 20 and is marketing a “Red, White and Blue” package to entice visitors to stay there.
Star Haury, the inn’s sales and marketing manager, said their three-night package includes dinner for two for one evening, one bottle of red wine, one dozen white roses and a blue cheese platter of assorted cheeses and fruits for guests upon arrival. This package starts at $1,900; the suite price is $2,500....
Loudoun homeowners are also hoping to profit from the Jan. 20 event.
Condos in Sterling, townhomes in Ashburn, single-family dwellings in Leesburg and even a Bluemont cabin are just some of the offerings found on Craigslist, with rental fees for private LoCo homes ranging from $225 to $3,500 a night.
