Sources: 10 Official Inaugural Balls and 45 Unofficial Ones
At a briefing this morning by Destination DC, a tourism organization, officials said that the Presidential Inaugural Commitee is planning on announcing 10 official inaugural balls. They also said they have a list of 45 unofficial inaugural balls so far.
The officials did not provide any more details about the official balls, which will be attended by Barack Obama after his swearing-in and the inaugural parade. But Destination DC has put together a list of the unofficial balls, along with other events related to the inauguration.
