Want to See Where Vendors Will Be?
If you're going to be attending the inauguration Jan. 20 and think you'll be hungry or thirsty or want some Barack Obama memorabilia, here's a map that shows you the zones where the licensed vendors will be able to set up, according to the D.C. Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs.
The swearing-in ceremony will take place at the U.S. Capitol (bottom right) and the parade will go West along Pennsylvania Ave., the diagonal street, from the Capitol to the White House (top left). The large green space, of course, is the National Mall, and the Ellipse in front of the White House. The red rectangles are where the 716 primary vendors will be located. The rectangle on the far right is just outside Union Station.
