See Local Inaugural Bands in Action

Yesterday, the Presidential Inaugural Committee announced the first group of organizations chosen to march in the inaugural parade. Since then, still more has been revealed about the participants -- and of special interest to many in the area are the bands.

The Monday release didn't list any D.C., Maryland or Virginia high school or college bands, but many became known on Tuesday: Dunbar High School's marching band and T.C. Williams High School's JROTC band, as well the bands from Hampton and Howard Universities, were picked. The Virginia Military Institute Corps of Cadets made the cut as well. We're still looking for videos of Dunbar and T.C. Williams; if you see something that looks promising, e-mail us a link and we'll take a look.
