Inaugural Ball Watch: Muhammad Ali to Appear at Kentucky's Bluegrass Ball
Organizers of the Bluegrass Ball on Monday at the Marriott Wardman Hotel 2660 Woodley Road, N.W., said today that Muhammad Ali will apear at their event in celebration of his 67th birthday. The ball is being staged by the Kentucky Society of Washington.
More than 1,400 people are expected to attend, according to the society. Masters of Ceremonies are Phyllis George, former Kentucky's First Lady and Miss America and her daughter, Pamela Brown. The Churchill Downs bugler, Steve Buttleman, will announce dinner with a "Call to the Post."
