At 4:04 p.m., President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama got out of their limo at 7th and Pennsylvania, NW, (just past the Newseum) to walk down the parade route.
They were greeted with cheers when the announcer said, "President Barack Obama!"
The crowd was wild with glee, as the couple walked a few blocks down Pennsylvania Avenue. The Obamas stopped in front at the corner of Pennsylvania Avenue and 12th Street and then got back into their vehicle.
