Restrooms Are Hot Item Downtown
(10th and E Street) -- At the Cosi at 10th and E the most popular items are the two indoor restrooms.
The wait is a mere 40 minutes while a McDonalds a few blocks east reports a 2 hour potty wait. LaVerne McNeill a cashier knew her audience. "The line for the restroom forms here. If you want to buy food that's here," she said.
"People are welcome to come in here and warm up" she said. For the 22 employees who opened the store at 6 a.m. "it's one long shift." They will be hard at work until 8 p.m. she said. By then the massive and unmoving security line outside her door should have abated. Maybe.
