I didn't realize there was a big concert event on the Mall for Presidential inaugurations. Is this commonplace? Who has perfomed in the past?

So I wonder which other celebrities who publicly badmouthed McCain will get kickbacks? Obama sure is intent on sharing the Chicago politics wealth with the rest of the country.

He will be performing to honor the Obamas, who are also great Americans. You Repukes should remember your mantra from 2002 and onward, criticizing the president (elect) is treasonous. This is going to be broadcast on HBO. People will need a free ticket, no announcement on how to get them. There's also a free concert on MLK Day where Aretha Franklin will perform, at the Millenium Stage, and a Kids Concert that will also be shown on Disney.
