Video: Celebrating at The Root Inaugural Ball
Inauguration Watch checked out the inaugural ball scene last night at an event hosted by The Root (the on-line magazine owned by The Washington Post Company) at the National Museum of American History. Biz Markie was the D.J., while Henry Louis "Skip" Gates, Jr., founder of the publication, spoke to the crowd. Oprah Winfrey reportedly stopped by, though we didn't see her, as did Spike Lee, Samuel L. Jackson, Chris Tucker and more.
