Update--Navy's Goalie Situation
--UPDATED--2:45 p.m.--Tommy Phelan will start in goal on Saturday, according to Coach Richie Meade.
Navy starting goalie Matt Coughlin remains questionable to play against Georgetown on Saturday, Coach Richie Meade said. Meade said Coughlin's treatment for a hamstring injury "is progressing," but he has been limited in practice this week.
Coughlin left a 4-3 overtime win over Bucknell on March 19 with a hamstring injury late in the fourth quarter and did not play against Colgate on Sunday. Instead, junior Tommy Phelan made his first career start. He finished with 13 saves and helped hold the Raiders scoreless for nearly 54 minutes in an 8-3 victory.
Phelan was a starting goalie as a senior at Loyola High (Balt.) in 2005; that team made the MIAA semifinals. He did not play as a freshman and missed much of last season with an ankle injury.

Is there going to be any Bayhawks news in this blog once the MLL season starts?

Re: The Bayhawks--
I hope we will have some coverage of the Bayhawks. We're still working a few things out regarding the blog's future past the college and HS playoffs. Once we know for certain, I'll post something.

I have to think that Phelan will get the start against Georgetown if Coughlin isn't healthy by now.
