Bad News for Georgetown

Senior attackman Brendan Cannon, the leading scorer for Georgetown, left the game against Rutgers today in the second quarter with a sprained ankle. Cannon watched the remainder of the game on the sideline, and on crutches. His status for the regular season finale against Penn State is uncertain, though Georgetown SID Mex Carey said Cannon was able to put weight on his ankle when he left the field at halftime.

Cannon had an assist early against Rutgers--the Hoyas are ahead 12-4 as I write this--and he has 23 goals and 22 assists on the season...
