Getting the early lead has helped the Terrapins be like a boa constrictor to their opponents: They get the early lead, control the tempo of the game, use their 3rd midfield and can use their zone defense, which further slows the game.

In Maryland's two losses--to Duke and UMBC--it trailed virtually the entire game.

Most games, the fourth quarter is important. Tonight, keep a close eye on the first quarter. See if Navy can avoid falling behind and letting Maryland play the game it wants. A lead would also led Navy use its depth and might increase its chances of using the transition game that worked well against Georgetown.
