Bush to Speak Shortly: Watch Market Response
President Bush is scheduled to address the press in a few moments (at 10:55 a.m.) with Italian Premier Silvio Berlusconi.
Presumably, Bush will make some remarks on the economy and the bailout package being readied.
As a bit of spectator sport, take a look at what the markets do as Bush speaks. They're currently in a strong rally -- as of about 10:45 a.m., the Dow was trading up 460 points.
