Records Drops Around the World
Though the Dow Jones industrial average is now down around 550 points, or 5.3 percent, at one point today it fell 782 points -- a record for a one-day decline.
Across the pond in London, the FTSE 100 fell 7.9 percent, or 391.1 points, the largest drop since Black Monday in 1987.
