Eyewitness: 'I pushed my daughter down to the floor'

Emilio Garcia-Ruiz, our local editor, just got off the phone with a tourist
from Puerto Rico who was about 25 feet away from the shooting:

"We had just left an exhibit and were walking toward the lobby," said
Freddy Hernandez, 47, who was visiting the museum with his parents and
19-year-old daughter. "We heard two shots. I pushed my daughter down to
the floor. ... I couldn't see the shooter, we were about 25 feet away, but
I saw a man on the floor bleeding. Two security guards ran past us and they
told us to get into a room. People were crying. There were a lot of
children in the lobby including an Amish group. We moved the children to
safety. There was total silence after the shooting ended."
