Everyone: I dearly hope this doesn't happen, but I'm concerned this incident is the first in a series of violent acts by random people, invisibly bound by similar delusions spawned by the alarmist, anger-inducing words of Rush, Hannity and other like them.

The Republican Party and White Supremacy fit together like hand and glove.

The Republican party should have not used that kind of propaganda during the elections. Now we see the results of inappropriate statements; there are people who are already crazy and just need a little push to act out their delusions. Perhaps in the next election both parties will act in a more conscientious way.

This was my first thought also. The venomous rants by these self-described "patriots" is drawing the right wing wackos out from under their rocks and encouraging them act out their extremist fantasies. They need to stop the hate talk and focus on rational, well-reasoned criticism of the policies they disagree with, not attacking individuals by calling them names. Otherwise, they are drawing out the worst in our country, not the best.

Many believe the crazies will bloom during this administration.Prejudice will never disappear it will prevail better hiding in the closet. My fear is how our First Family leave us with the opinion they are free as they stroll the streets of our Capitol.

I can only imagine what our First Family goes through on a daily basis to power-up the strength to ignore the fear and hate that our ex-vice president, Rush, Hannity, etc. stir with their comments. I hope that more citizens will appreciate and respect the people who serve in and for our country.
