A timely snowfall and The Weekend Poll
SNOW! First the weather forecasters talked about "some" snow this weekend. Then they started throwing the "significant" word around. Now they're saying it could be five inches of the stuff. And on a weekend! To this Pennsylvania-born girl that's pretty exciting news. And yes I will be rushing to the store to stock up on groceries, because I always do at the end of the week. I even need to stock up on toilet paper. Honest, I do.
WEEKEND READING: Dan Rafter follows up on many of the chimney repair questions I raised in this space last week and offers some good dollars-and-cents advice. And Green Scene columnist Joel M. Lerner rates different varieties of evergreens for their Christmas tree potential.
CHAT DAY: The last Real Estate Live chat of the year...nay, the decade...starts at 1 p.m. today. How could you miss that? Well, if you must miss it, drop me a line early and advance the conversation.
The Weekend Poll
This is a non-scientific user poll. Results are not statistically valid and cannot be assumed to reflect the views of Washington Post users as a group or the general population.
