Marine from Waldorf killed in Afghanistan

A 19-year-old Marine from Waldorf died Wednesday from wounds he received in Afghanistan, the Department of Defense announced Friday.
Lance Cpl. Terry E. Honeycutt Jr. was injured on Oct. 21 while conducting combat operations in the Helmand province, defense officials said.
He was assigned to 2nd Battalion, 9th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, N.C.
