1 killed, 8 hurt at Balt. high school reunion
Police say a 23-year-old was killed and eight others injured during a high school reunion in Maryland.
Baltimore City Police say the Walbrook High School reunion for classes 1995 through 2005 was being held at the Patapsco Arena in Baltimore on Friday night. Police spokesman Donny Moses said it appears that “one individual basically went on a stabbing rampage.” Moses says police have a suspect in custody but charges have not been filed, and police disclosed no motive for the stabbings.
Moses identified the deceased victim as Carrington McNutt. Two other victims were taken to area hospitals but were expected to survive.
Police said private security at the event detained witnesses and pointed to a suspect.
