A police officer and a second person were injured in Prince William County on Tuesday when a police cruiser on a high-priority call collided with another vehicle, county police said.
The collision occurred about 5 p.m. on Jefferson Davis Highway at Rosedale Court, an intersection without a traffic signal in the Woodbridge/Dale City area, police said. The police car had its emergency equipment activated, according to police.
The officer and the other driver were both taken to hospitals with injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening, the police said.
