27 arrested for solicitation in Howard
Howard County police said Thursday that they arrested 27 men for solicitation of prostitution along Route 1.
On Wednesday alone, detectives and female officers arrested 11 suspects for soliciting prostitution near Whiskey Bottom Road in Laurel. Officers also conducted an enforcement effort on the afternoon of March 19 at the same location in which 16 men were arrested.
Female officers in plain clothes worked undercover in areas identified by citizen complaints. Suspects who approached the female officers and made such offers were arrested. Here's a list of individuals arrested.

That "list of individuals" is a crafty decision on the part of the authorities. Worse than a fine. Hoo boy. That will get your attention real fast! YIKES.
Time to make love to the ugly, fat wife!

So, the prostitutes themselves get away with this crime? Why go after the men, is this politically correct now?

Good idea to publish the names. I can't believe that in this day and age, people still sleep with prostitutes. Gross!

It would have been a much better story if you'd printed some pics of the 'ho's. But more importantly, print pictures of these mens wives or girlfriends so we can see if they weight 200 pounds and German Shepherd UGLY. Then the guys arrested could plead self-defense and temporary insanity

Prostitution has been called the world's oldest profession for a reason, and no amount of laws or public john lists are going to change human nature.
Shouldn't we think about legalizing it?

Thank you WaPo. This is a scream and the comments are even funnier! That's a long list of Maryland stupid that can't tell a cop from a ho yet there really isn't all THAT much of a difference.

Jeez, at first I thought they had arrested 27 male prostitutes in Howard County. THAT would have been NEWS and truly a sign of an economy on the rocks.
Can't blame the guys though since so many in Maryland have raised their daughters to resemble beached land whales.

Every heterosexual male in the USA should be assigned a sex slave by Uncle Sam. She never gets old or ugly. Gravity never takes over. She can't talk. Always in the mood. Never says "no."
