29 million online searches are done per minute
There are 29 million Internet searches done each minute worldwide according a new report by Reston-based comScore.
The Washington Business Journal reports that Internet users conducted 131 billion searches in December. That is more than 4 billion searches per day, 175 million searches per hour and 29 million searches per minute, according to an annual report about search engine traffic conducted by comScore. The U.S. remains the largest search market with 17 percent of total searches.
